Dear readers,
Thank you for your patience these last couple months. It’s been a very exciting time taking the reins here at Hothouse!
I’ve been hard at work drawing up an editorial vision and calendar through the rest of the year. In the coming months, we'll dig into the promises of regenerative travel, the role humor has to play in talking about climate solutions, and innovative forms of disaster preparedness emerging at the ground level.
That’s just for starters. I am eager to share more about all that’s in the works around here in the weeks to come.
In the interim, I will be at South by Southwest in Austin, TX, this March 10 - 17. If any Hothouse readers will be in town and would like to talk shop, climate solutions, or story ideas, I’d love to find time to chat over a cup of coffee or tea.
Alternatively, maybe there’s something happening at SXSW you’re eager to learn more about or hear the Hothouse perspective on? If so, don’t be shy! I’d love to hear from you: cadence@hothouse.solutions.
Besides a climate change-specific conference track, SXSW’s scope will include tracks on the topics below. I invite you to weigh in on which you’re most eager to have Hothouse report back on, and I’ll do my best to deliver:
I’m excited to dig into the future of it all, as is the business of this newsletter.
See you all on the other side,
Cadence Bambenek

This is great news and a challenging, interesting agenda, Ms. Bambenek! I am happy to see that knowledge is still power. A little turbulence and humor help, too. Thank you.
