The hottest day
We’re taking a breather this week. Whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving, or just pausing near the end of a long and very challenging year, please accept our gratitude for supporting our work.
We’re also sharing something special with you. On July 25 last year, the UK experienced its hottest day in recorded history. Owen Tozer, a friend of Hothouse and London-based art director and photographer, spent that day filming in Brighton. His film captures the sublime beauty of what we’re trying to save in the fight against climate change. Please take four minutes to enjoy it.
We’ve loved the journey we’ve taken with you so far, but it’s still early days for Hothouse. How can Hothouse be more inspiring, and useful for you? Please tell us what you think. Our feedback survey takes just 30-seconds, or you can email us your thoughts.
We’ll be back next week, exploring the carbon impact of our digital lives.
Hothouse is a weekly climate action newsletter written and edited by Jemima Kiss, Mike Coren and Jim Giles. We rely on readers to support us, and everything we publish is free to read.
